Before Care Procedures

Charge: $4.00 per day

Please try to sign up for Before Care at least 24 hours in advance.

If we have space, we will allow students to sign up that day.

You can sign up by placing your child’s name on the sign-up sheet nearest the entrance doors or by calling the preschool office.

Before Care charges will be billed at the end of each month and payment can be made by check due the first Friday of the new month.

If you are arriving between 7:45a.m. and 7:55a.m.:

· Drop Off car line ONLY.

· Bring your child to school entering the IHM campus through the front parking lot of the church. When you pull in, the church will be on your right.

· Stay with the traffic pattern. You will follow the right side curb adjacent to the church. Pull your car in front of the school and follow the sidewalk on your right.

· Pull up as far as you can before stopping. There will be cones and teachers outside directing you.

· Mrs. Parks and Mrs. Thomas will also be there looking for your child.

· They will assist your child out of the car.

· They will begin walking to the preschool building promptly at 8:00 a.m.

If you are arriving after 8:00 a.m.:

· Enter the IHM campus using the traffic light at Applebee’s.

· You cannot go around the school building, as buses will be utilizing that space.

· Follow the traffic pattern listed in the Preschool Handbook under arrival procedures.

· You can pull into the circle and stop your car.

· You will need to assist your child out of the car and walk him/her to the entrance door closest to the church.

· Please knock on the door and Mrs. Park and/or Mrs. Thomas will meet you.
